Marc Dulude - President and Chief Executive Officer
Marc Dulude is one of six General Partners at Ampersand Ventures, the largest shareholder of RAND Worldwide, and has spent his career primarily in the field of engineering and product management. Prior to joining Ampersand, Mr. Dulude was the Chief Executive Officer of Moldflow from 1996 to 2002 where he directed the company’s global operations and Initial Public Offering (IPO) of stock on the NASDAQ market, one of the top ranked IPO’s in 2000. Mr. Dulude also held the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing and was a corporate officer at Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), where he had the overall responsibility for the product line management of PTC’s products as well as the creation and dissemination of the supporting marketing materials and activities. Mr. Dulude has also held leading CAD/CAM/CAE and development management positions at Bell Northern Research (BNR), the research arm of Northern Telecom, and ICAM Technologies Corporation. Mr. Dulude has a B.Eng and M.Eng with a focus on Mechanical Engineering from Carleton University in Canada.
Peter Gimon - Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Gimon joined RAND Worldwide in 2005 and has a financial and engineering career spanning more than 20 years, beginning with General Electric where he worked as an industrial engineer. He has extensive experience in financial and operational management of global organizations. Most recently, Mr. Gimon ran an Independent Consulting Practice, where among other things; he assisted a TSX listed company with Information Technology Governance initiatives associated with Sarbanes-Oxley/Bill 198 compliance. Prior to his consultancy practice, Mr. Gimon was Vice President, Controller, at ShawCor Limited where he directed 150 employees in North America, Europe and Asia. During his four years at ShawCor, Mr. Gimon initiated programs to increase cash flow, manage foreign exchange risk, oversee internal control compliance initiatives and integrate acquisitions. Prior to joining ShawCor, Mr. Gimon spent twelve years at Nortel Networks in a variety of increasingly more responsible roles in the areas of financial and operational management, mergers and acquisitions, and treasury.
Mr Gimon holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from York University, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering (BASc) from the University of Toronto, is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and a Professional Engineer (P.Eng).
Joseph Oswald - Executive Vice President, PLM Operations, North America and Europe Joe Oswald is a professional engineer who joined the company as an Applications Engineer in 1991. In October 1996, Mr. Oswald was appointed Vice-President, Strategic Partnerships and in 2000, he was appointed Vice-President, Technical Education, managing the newly formed business unit for Client Training. In 2001, Mr. Oswald founded the ASCENT division of RAND Worldwide. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Oswald was Chief Engineer at Factotum Compusystems, a producer of Engineering Prototypes.
Robert F. Heeg - Executive Vice President, IMAGINiT Worldwide Operations
Robert F. Heeg has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and graduated cum laude from Ohio University. Mr. Heeg joined RAND Worldwide in August 2000 as a Sales and Marketing Manager for the Company’s IMAGINiT Technologies division. In August 2002, he was appointed US Country Manager of IMAGINiT. In August 2004, Mr. Heeg was appointed Executive Vice President of North America for the IMAGINiT Technologies division. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Heeg served as the Vice President and Manager of Anderson International Corp. from 1996 to 2000.
Jeoff Shiekh - Vice President & General Counsel, Corporate Secretary
Jeoff Shiekh joined RAND Worldwide in 2000 and brings a legal and business background having received a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Psychology from his undergraduate studies and went on to obtain a Juris Doctorate degree with a concentration in Business Transactions. During his legal studies, Mr. Shiekh was actively involved with the American Bar Association/LSD, wherein he held the title of Vice-President of the ABA Chapter 6 division. Upon being called to the Bar, he went on to work for the Attorney General’s office and shortly thereafter moved on to head up RAND Worldwide’s legal department. Mr. Shiekh has experience in structuring Merger and Acquisition transactions, Intellectual Property Licensing Agreements, Joint Ventures, and international commercial contracts. Mr. Shiekh is also a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel.
