April: RAND Worldwide and Dassault Systèmes announces plans to create Rand North America, Inc., a new joint venture focused on increasing sales of IBM/Dassault Systèmes PLM software in North America.
July: North American PLM software sales and business unit is transferred to Rand North America, a new U.S. company, formed through a joint venture with Dassault Systèmes and RAND Worldwide.
Rand North America enters into an agreement with RAND Worldwide in which all Rand North America training, maintenance, support, and consulting services will be sub-contracted to RAND Worldwide for a three year period.
RGB Technologies is acquired by RAND Worldwide expanding its product and services offering in the Northeastern region of France, dominated by the automotive customer sector, allowing the company to be active in all the country’s industrial sectors.
