Technical Support Engineer (CATIA V5) - Solution Center

RAND's Solution Center has an opening for a technical support engineer who will be responsible for providing remote technical support to customers in the Dassault Systèmes software stream. Applications include CATIA V5 and SmarTeam (experience with Inventor, AutoCAD Architectural, Civil 3D, Map, and Vault. is a bonus). Technical support will be provided via telephone, webcast and other electronic communications. The individual will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong problem solving and time management skills.
Our Technical Support Engineer will:
- Provide timely, technically accurate solutions for Dassault Systèmes application users (customers)
- Maintain a high level of service and call statistics within the Solution Center through self-management of time and priorities
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Continually build technical expertise
- Develop a sense of teamwork and responsibility within the Solution Center to focus on customer service
Education & Experience Required:
- University degree (B.Sc or B.Eng) or a Three Year college diploma (Technologist designation)
- Experience working with 3D CAD and product data management (PDM) applications
- Proficiency in a Windows 2000/XP environment
- Experience in a customer focused position
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues
- Must be highly motivated and a self starter
