Reporting to the area training manager, as the technical training engineer you will be providing training and consulting to major corporations on next generation CAD software CATIA V5 and/or Pro/ENGINEER. Clients vary from automotive to aerospace/defense to consumer products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and deliver CATIA V5 and/or pro/ENGINEER end user training
- Aid in the development and reviewing of training materials, such as course manuals
- Help maintain training hardware
- Provide engineering software support on CATIA V5 and Pro/ENGINEER as required
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- 4 year post-secondary degree in an engineering or technology discipline
- 1 year of experience with mechanical design in a 3d environment
- Must have CATIA V5 and/or Pro/ENGINEER experience (1 year/2000 hrs minimum)
- Excellent interpersonal communications skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Previous teaching experience would be helpful
Travel Requirements:
- 50% travel for offsite training activities
