The APM provides the means to create separate or joint projects for client side and server side PST file mapping. The intelligent scanning process crawls the network to find PST files without any administrative input required to specify drives. At your fingertips, you can determine the extent of PST file use within your organization and plan your archive projects accordingly. Once you begin, you will be armed with valuable information about which files were archived, when, and to whom they belong.
Stub management is also provided directly from the APM application, allowing you to decide when to stub the PST file and when to merge stubs back into the mailboxes. Fully integrated with EAS Search, your archived PST file messages and attachments can be indexed and made available for full text searching.
