RAND's ASCENT - Center for Technical Knowledge® has been pioneering knowledge products since 1996. To assist users in getting the most out of their engineering software we offer a variety of knowledge assessment tools designed to identify existing proficiency levels and offer future training recommendations.
We offer two methods of knowledge assessment:
User Knowledge Profile
Our User Knowledge Profile (UKP) evaluates basic Pro/ENGINEER or CATIA skills such as creating simple features, sketches, and assemblies through a series of hands-on tasks and quizzes. Delivered online, the UKP takes approximately two hours to complete and provides you with a report identifying your software proficiency and areas that require improvement, including a recommended targeted learning path.
User Quizzes User Quizzes (UQs) are an online knowledge assessment tool that will assist you in accurately measuring your current knowledge of core software functionality by answering a series of technical questions related to your software.
User Quizzes provide you with an effective mechanism to identify skill gaps before proceeding onto advanced training in your software program. Upon completion of a quiz, we’ll email you your results, which will assist in determining any training requirements to advance your software usage skills.
Combined with our instructor-led training and targeted eLearning solutions, users can be confident of having the prerequisite knowledge and skills as they move to each level of their training program.
