Blog: Teachers Step Up and Assist with Global Issues

edutopia Blogger, Suzie Boss shares her insight on the power of teaching and learning to improve lives and transform communities. In this month's newsletter, Suzie shares an excerpt of her blog:

In southern Sudan, a region wracked by decades of civil war and famine, hope is rising. A new secondary school is going up in the village of Marial Bai. But, as teachers know, learning requires more than bricks and mortar. That's why Teachers Without Borders is reaching out to its global network of educators to assist this humanitarian effort by providing professional development for new staff.

There is a brand-new HotFix download available for 3ds Max and 3ds Max Design 2010.

Here are the issues the Hot Fix addresses:

  • Materials - fixed maxscript error issue.
  • Parameter Wiring - Wire sub-controllers no longer removed during garbage collection.
  • Undo - There are five undo fixes where the undo stack got cleared when it shouldn't have. See if you still have undo stack problems and let us know if there are more to resolve.
