Autodesk VIZ to Autodesk 3ds Max Design 2009 Cross-grade Promotion

Autodesk is offering Autodesk® VIZ users with a low cost way to cross-grade to Autodesk® 3ds Max® Design 2009. The primary reason for this promotion is that due to the recent announcement by Autodesk that they are discontinuing development of VIZ. 3ds Max Design is the preferred product and offers a number of features and enhancements not available in VIZ.

From July 21, 2008 through October 17, 2008 clients using Autodesk VIZ 2006, 2007, or 2008 can purchase new seats of Autodesk 3ds Max Design 2009 for a special price when purchased with Autodesk® Subscription. The level of discount is determined by the version of VIZ currently owned.

The Autodesk Subscription Program makes it simple to keep your software up to date going forward by giving you the latest releases of your Autodesk software, incremental product enhancements, personalized web support direct from Autodesk and self-paced training options with one annual fee.

This promotion is available to customers in the United States and Canada who prior to February 12, 2008 purchased commercial licenses of: (i) Autodesk VIZ 2008 with Autodesk Subscription; or (ii) Autodesk VIZ 2008, Autodesk VIZ 2007, or Autodesk VIZ 2006 but did not purchase Subscription.
