The outcome of this course is to build a strong foundation in the concepts, tools, and features found in the plumbing portion of the MEP environment. In this hands-on course, the user will learn how to create, modify, and annotate building systems models and produce construction documents. Topics include, creating a plumbing system model, adding schematics and creating tables. Throughout the course, the user will work in the project environment, which is a new way of working. The instruction and concepts are reinforced through many discipline-specific exercises.

• Create a 2D plumbing design.
• Create construction documents.
• Create a 3D plumbing design.

Prerequisites: It is recommended that students complete the AutoCAD Essentials course and have a working knowledge of a recent version of AutoCAD®, in addition to drafting, design, or engineering experience. It is also recommended that the student have a working knowledge of Microsoft® Windows® XP or Microsoft® Windows® 2000.
