The AutoCAD 3D Drawing and Modeling class introduces users who are proficient with AutoCAD's 2D commands to the concepts and methods of 3D modeling. The course gives a thorough grounding in 3D fundamentals and explores the main features of AutoCAD's advanced 3D workspace. The major topics covered are: 3D viewing techniques, working with simple and composite solids, creating complex solids and surfaces, creating & modifying 3D objects, converting 3D objects, and creating composite solids. In addition you will learn about perspectives, rendering, creating drawings, working with user coordinate systems, and getting information about the model.

Fundamental Topics:

Prerequisites: Before taking this course, students need a good working skill level in AutoCAD. A minimum of 80 hours of work experience with AutoCAD is recommended.
