Autodesk® 3ds Max® is a design visualization platform offering state-of-the-art technology for creating photo-realistic "still" renderings and desktop animations. While it includes its own tools for 2D and 3D modeling, Autodesk 3ds Max can also work with geometry imported from many other applications. This course provides a thorough introduction to Autodesk 3ds Max that will help new users make the most of this sophisticated application, as well as broaden the horizons of existing, self-taught users.

The material in the course is intended for design professionals from different industries. Most of the practices presented are geared towards the majority of Autodesk 3ds Max users: professionals in the Architectural, Civil Engineering, and Interior Design industries. To be as inclusive as possible certain tasks often undertaken in Autodesk 3ds Max by professionals in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, and related fields have also been included.

Prerequisites: Experience with 3D modeling would be an asset, but not a requirement.
