Autodesk VIZ 2008 offers state-of-the-art technology for creating photo-realistic "still" renderings as well as desktop animations. While it includes its own tools for 2D and 3D modeling, VIZ can work with geometry imported from many other applications as well. This course provides a thorough introduction to VIZ that will help new users make the most of this sophisticated application, as well as broaden the horizons of existing, self-taught users. The main topics covered in this course include: Introduction to Autodesk VIZ 2008, VIZ Functions, VIZ Configuration, Assembling Project Files, 3D Modeling from 2D Objects, and Materials. In addition you will be provided with an Introduction to VIZ Lighting, Lighting with VIZ Radiosity, Rendering, and Animation.
